Genie Tier Levels: What They Mean and Who You Can Hire
Every Genie on RemoteGenies is pre-vetted and placed into one of three tiers based on their years of experience. Your plan determines how many top-tier Genies you can access.
The Three Tiers

Entry — Best for straightforward, repeatable work: admin tasks, research, data entry, simple content formatting.
Advanced — Skilled professionals suited for content creation, customer support, project assistance, and similar work.
Top-Tier — Highly experienced Genies for niche or technical roles: web development, strategic planning, design, and complex operations.
You can view any Genie's tier directly on their profile.
Who You Can Hire Depends on Your Plan
Free Credits (New Accounts)
When you register, you receive free credits to get started. With free credits, you can hire Genies from all three tiers — Entry, Advanced, and Top-Tier — and you can invite Top-Tier Genies to bid on your tasks.
Note: The platform validates your credit balance before a task moves to Listed. If you don't have enough credits, the task stays in Draft and you'll see an "Insufficient credits to list this task" message.
Non-Top-Tier Plans
If you're on a plan that is not a top-tier subscription, you can still hire Top-Tier Genies — up to 5 times.
Once you've used all 5 top-tier hires:
- The Genies shown below that limit will be Entry and Advanced Genies, who can still be invited to bid.
- You'll see a prompt encouraging you to upgrade to a plan that gives you unlimited access to Top-Tier Genies.
- Top-Tier Genies can no longer be invited to bid once this limit is reached, but you can still view their profiles.
To remove the cap entirely, upgrade to a top-tier subscription plan.
Top-Tier Plans
With a top-tier subscription (monthly or annual), you have unrestricted access to hire Genies across all three tiers with no hire limit.

A Note on Rates and Credits
The Genie's hourly rate is deducted from your credits when you hire them. Higher-tier Genies have higher hourly rates, so they consume more credits per hour. The exact deduction depends on the Genie's rate and the hours agreed upon.
All Genies — regardless of tier — are pre-vetted before they appear on the platform.
