RemoteGenies is a Filipino freelance marketplace that connects clients worldwide with pre-vetted Filipino freelancers — called Genies — through a structured, task-based hiring process.
The core idea
Instead of sifting through hundreds of unverified profiles, clients post a task, and matched Genies submit bids based on their skills and estimated hours. Every task comes with a dedicated Project Coordinator who manages progress, ensures quality, and steps in if issues arise — so clients don't have to micromanage, and Genies have a clear accountability structure.
Who are the Genies?
Genies are Filipino freelancers who go through a strict vetting process — skills assessments, background checks, and admin review — before they're allowed to work on client tasks. Only those who pass are on the platform.
How it works (the short version)
For clients:
- Post a task with a description, timeline, and required skills.
- Matched Genies submit bids.
- Review bids and hire the Genie that fits.
- Your Project Coordinator monitors progress and keeps everything on track.
- Approve the completed work to close the task.
For Genies:
- Complete registration and pass the vetting process.
- Browse open tasks and submit bids, or receive direct invites from clients.
- Once hired, coordinate with the client and your Project Coordinator via the platform.
- Deliver the work, track hours, and get paid upon client approval.

Payment
