How Many Genies You Can Invite and Hire
There are two separate limits to know: how many Genies you can invite to bid on a task, and how many top-tier Genies you can hire depending on your plan.
Inviting Genies to Bid
When you open a task for bids, you invite Genies directly — the task does not broadcast to everyone on the platform. You can invite up to 10 Genies per task.

You must invite at least 1 Genie before a task can move to Open for Bid status. You cannot open a task without sending at least one invite.

You can select up to 10 items. Once you reach the limit, no additional selections will be allowed.
The invite screen includes filters for name, skillsets, experience, ratings, and favorites so you can narrow down the right candidates quickly.
Hiring Top-Tier Genies: Plan-Based Limits
All clients — including those on free credits — can access Genies across all experience levels. However, if you are not on a top-tier subscription plan, there is a cap on how many top-tier Genies you can hire.
Non-top-tier plan clients can hire top-tier Genies up to 5 times.
Once you've used all 5 top-tier hires:

The platform will display a section in your Genies list indicating you've reached the limit.

Top-tier Genies can no longer be invited to bid by you until you upgrade.

You can still view top-tier Genie profiles.

All Genies available to invite after the limit is reached will be entry-level and intermediate Genies.

You'll see an option to upgrade your plan to unlock continued access to top-tier Genies.
If you're on a top-tier subscription plan, this 5-hire cap does not apply.
Quick Reference
A maximum of 10 Genies can be invited per task. To open a task for bidding, all Clients are required to invite at least 1 Genie.
Clients on the Pay as You Go or Advanced plan can hire up to 5 Top-tier Genies for their tasks, while Clients on the Top-tier plan can hire an unlimited number of Top-tier Genies.
What Happens When You Hit the Top-Tier Limit?
